My passion for all things birth and baby related began to grow with the birth of my first child in 2012. I trained as a volunteer Breastfeeding Support Councillor and have been supporting mothers on their breastfeeding journey for several years. That lead me to train as an Antenatal Educator with Antenatal Ireland, and to continue my training to become a Birth and Postpatum Doula with Doula Care Ireland. In addition, I am also a Qualified Infant Massage Instructor.
By combining all aspects of my training, I aim to support mothers, birthing people and families through their pregnancy, birth and during the postpartum period in Perth, Western Australia.

Our service packages are flexible and cater to your needs, offering tailored solutions for every individual and family.
A doula provides you and your partner / family with emotional, practical and physical support during pregnancy, labour and birth and the postpartum period. They are there to help you to advocate for yourself and help you access evidence-based information, allowing you to focus on having the birth and postpartum experience you desire.
It’s never too early! It’s a good idea to start making enquiries once you decide you would like to have a doula. It’s important to find a doula that feels like the right fit for you and your partner/family. It allows you to have support throughout your pregnancy, so you have help navigating the maternity care system.
A doula can offer support for all types of births – home or hospital births, VBACs and caesarean births. I can support you in planning your birth preferences during an antenatal session.
In 2017, Bohren et al. published an updated Cochrane review on the use of continuous
support for women during childbirth. People who received continuous support were more
likely to have spontaneous vaginal births and less likely to have any pain medication,
epidurals, negative feelings about childbirth, vacuum or forceps-assisted births, and
Caesareans. In addition, their labours were shorter by about 40 minutes and their babies were
less likely to have low Apgar scores at birth. There is a smaller amount of evidence that doula
support in labour can lower postpartum depression in mothers. There is no evidence for
negative consequences to continuous labour support. (Source: Rebecca Dekker, Evidence
Based Birth, Updated May 4 th 2019).
Benefits such as:
July Antenatal Course
The course with Linda was really informative and practical. We would recommend it to any couple expecting a baby. We found the 2 days really enjoyable and engaging and came away feeling a lot more confident about making the best decisions for us.
March Antenatal Course
Myself and my partner really enjoyed attending the 2 day Antenatal Course with Linda. Linda has a very unique way of making you feel so comfortable when discussing such intimate topics.
35 weeks pregnant
Thank you again for such an amazing experience. Niall and myself both left feeling confident, informed and empowered, which was the ideal goal. The clarity that all the hands- on exercises, tasks and discussions brought were invaluable.
